Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) have become cornerstones of today’s most innovative and successful organizations. Studies by McKinsey & Company, Deloitte Insights, and Boston Consulting Group prove that workforce diversity increases profitability, performance, and work satisfaction.
But it’s one thing to want to increase your organization’s diversity, and another thing to strategically mobilize your diversity data to help get you there.
Enter VIBE
In September of 2020, Workday VIBE Centralâ„¢ was announced – Workday’s first delivered diversity reporting dashboard.
VIBE – short for Value Inclusion, Belonging, and Equity — is a set of reports which empower organizations to track diversity metrics across key areas such as hiring, compensation, and internal mobility. Specifically, VIBE:
These reports promote equity by making it easy to see whether underrepresented groups are being hired, compensated, and promoted at the same rates as their peers. These, in turn, are key indicators of whether there is true inclusion and belonging at an organization.
Bridging VIBE’s Gaps
That being said, there are some important limitations.
That’s where Altura comes in.
Altura is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) that supports industry-wide change through research-driven, evidence-based DEI offerings. Altura’s DEI Dashboards utilize VIBE Central’s current strengths and supplement the out-of-the-box dashboard with:

Securing Your Sensitive Data
Of course, reports are only one piece of the puzzle. Security is an essential concern too, since DEI data includes sensitive information on compensation, hires, and termination for which you’ll want to limit the audience. For this reason, Altura recommends creating new security groups to ensure that all underlying data will be visible to the individuals assigned to this user group.
Specifically, Altura recommends creating Diversity Officer and Diversity Council security groups with access to part of the data. Your Diversity Officer will have access to the entire dashboard, while your Diversity Council may be provisioned limited access to sensitive tabs such as compensation.
Going Beyond DEI Data
But why stop there? If your executives need a bird’s-eye view of your organization’s DEI story alongside other key company metrics, Altura’s DEI Dashboards can easily be pivoted into Executive Dashboards.
Our team will work with you to highlight the highest-impact DEI reports in addition to key general metrics on headcount, staffing, internal mobility, succession planning, and more.
So whether you’re interested in adopting VIBE out-of-the-box, or you want to tailor your DEI data to your organization’s specific benchmarks and goals, let Altura maximize your diversity data reporting.
No matter what your DEI needs are, Altura has a solution for you.
